Marie Rime is a Swiss artist who works in the field of photography, collage, set and costume design.
Most of her work is inspired by her native Gruyère region, where colorful folklore and local traditions play an important role in everyday life.
In recent years she participated in exhibitions at the Festival Circulations in Paris and MEWO Kunsthalle in Memmingen, Germany and collaborated with partners such as La Grange de Dorigny, University theatre in Lausanne Switzerland, or the Villa Noailles in Hyères, France. Her work has appeared in the New York Times Magazine and the Guardian.
She is currently living and working in Berlin.
